The classic Shinogi-Zukuri blade shape is the most widely used design for real cutting practice, offering excellent balance, structural strength and optimal cutting geometry. The tsuka is mounted with genuine ray skin (samegawa) and a leather-wrapped grip, providing a firm and secure hold even during intensive training.
